It's the time of the year in Croatia when the cherries and walnuts (green walnut skin)are ready to be picked to make cherry liquor "Višnjevača" and walnut-snaps "Orahovica". Obviously you can find the spirit...with every glas you drink, a little more. Before doing so, it's a great idea to go for a little excursion from the marina where your Anamore yacht ist moored and see it yourself.
While walking and exploring the hinterland, you can be sure to find a farmer or restaurant where you can try a little of the liquor and also enjoy the colourful sights of the big karaves in which the liquor had to mature. Locals say that the glas bottle has to be out in the sun for 30 days, to make the liquor perfect.
